Severe storms and tornadoes hit the South, killing at least 6 and leaving heavy destruction

Strong storms and tornadoes whipped across parts of the South on Thursday evening and Friday morning, killing at least five people in Alabama and one in Georgia, and leaving some communities in ruins.
